QUALFIED MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY
We a growing community mental health provider in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking a few Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team . As a Specialist, we will train you to work with clients in an outpatient setting as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with clients to assess strengths, abilities, needs, and preferences.
• Promotes recovery-based care by helping clients with practical information and life skills.
• Coordinates, makes referrals, or arranges for appropriate community resources as needed.
• Maintains communication with clients, family members and ancillary service providers to assure responsiveness to client needs.
• Advocates for clients to ensure equal access to services and equity of treatment.
• Maintains appropriate medical records and completes billing documentation in a timely manner.
• Strictly adheres to client’s rights, confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Completes scheduled activities including, but not limited to: focus group activities, counseling groups under appropriate clinical supervision
• Listens and provides emotional support and encouragement to all clients
• Understands and implements Individual Treatment Plans
• Intervenes as necessary in crisis situations to protect clients from injuring other clients, staff, and/or themselves according to policy.
• Maintains confidentiality of client files and individual client logs electronic health records.
• Completes clinical documentation for all clinical services provided under licensed clinical supervision in an accurate and timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Able to drive personal automobile with a valid Ohio driver’s license, insured vehicle and safe driving record

SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER COUNSELOR
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for passionate and skilled clinicians to join our growing clinical team and provide a full array of chemical dependency counseling services to adults in residential treatment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for providing individual and/or group counseling as defined by license
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning for all applicable clients
• Develop comprehensive diagnostic assessment within the scope of license
• Perform counseling, psychosocial intervention and treatment under close supervision
• Maintain caseload and utilization by maintaining regular contact with clients
• Monitor and assess progress utilizing supportive methods
• Interview and observe clients and prepare clinical reports and individualized service plans
• May provide family counseling according to established principles and best practices
• Provide cognitive behavioral treatment, conduct assessments, individual/group counseling and case management
• May provide clinical direction and participate in providing in-service training to other treatment team members
• Provides dependent diagnosis, under close supervision of an independently licensed supervisor
• Provides in-depth assessment services and diagnostic summaries; assesses and selects appropriate counseling methods in order to maximize treatment process and outcomes, both individual and group
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities in compliance with contract, regulatory and agency requirements and clinical best practices
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 Years experience in SUD counseling or Social Work, with Group Counseling
• CDCA, CDCAII, LCDC II or, SWA
• LCDCIII, LSW, or LPC
• Bachelor's Degree
