WHAT WE DO
UNIK Foundation is an innovative, non-profit, community-based reentry service provider with both in-prison programming and post-released services including housing, behavioral healthcare, workforce development, case management, pro bono legal services and advocacy for individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration and mental health/substance use disorder.
Our Origin Story
UNIK Foundation’s origin story began with mentoring and advocating for at-risk youth from the rapidly growing New American/Immigrant/Muslim Communities in partnership with Franklin County Office of Justice and Justice Policy. Since 2020, UNIK Foundation’s value proposition and services have continued to expand, and now incorporates a wider demographic and customer base including justice-impacted citizens. Along with our affiliate partners, UNIK Foundation employs a multi-prong strategy to engage, stabilize and empower our clients and accelerate their reintegration.
